Study abroad with COINED Spain, a non-profit organization committed to the promotion of intercultural and international education programs.
Since its foundation in 1971, thousands of students world-wide have participated in our study abroad programs. Apart from Spain, COINED also has offices in Germany, United States, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala and the headquarter in Argentina; through our associate organizations, we are represented in nearly every country.
COINED both receives young people from overseas and even offers Spain participantes to live an intercultural experience abroad.

COINED offers the following study abroad programs in Spain and even for Spain participants:
* Internships:
An internship in Spain is the best opportunity to gain professional and international work experience and to improve your Spanish skills. COINED Spain offers you a wide range of internship placements with host companies of every field: marketing internships, architecture internships, graphic design internships, law internships, ecology internships, and more!
* Volunteering
Volunteering abroad in Spain is the best opportunity to live a different culture in a unique way while you develop your social skills, you gain work experience, and you improve your Spanish proficiency. You can choose from a wide range of volunteer placements with host organizations and institutions in social, health care, and environmental fields.
* Spanish Courses
You can choose your Spanish school in any of the most relevant cities in Spain, or you can combine your Spanish course in several cities and get to know different aspects of the Spanish culture.
* Teach Abroad
The Teach Abroad in Spain Program is designed for young people who want to get a deep insight into the Spanish culture. Participating in this program implies sharing daily life with a host family, learning their language and culture and adopting it as yours for a period of time. At the same time, you will share your own language and culture with the members of your local family.
* UAB-COINED University Program
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (School of Modern Languages) & COINED Spain offer you the possibility of combining high standard university Spanish studies with an international internship in Barcelona.
* Paid Work Experience
With the Paid Work Experience in Spain program you will have the opportunity of working in Spain and practicing your Spanish skills while you self-finance your stay in Spain. The Paid Work Experience in Spain program is offered in and around Barcelona and Marbella, in popular summer resorts and other service industries in the fields of hospitality, catering, retail, etc.
* Au Pair
As an Au Pair in Spain you will provide child care assistance in exchange for the opportunity to experience family life in Spain. As an Au Pair, you will become a regular member of your host family, providing in home child care and bonding with the family's children, enriching their lives with your language and culture at the same time that you enrich your own. In return for some hours of childcare and light housework, you will receive full board, accommodation and pocket money.
